Children love to have books read to them and they love to create art!
We'll combine the two to help improve visualization and comprehension.

Pottery and More
Pottery
Ages 7 & up and families
Wednesdays: 4:00 - 5:15pm
4 Weeks: Nov 6 - Dec 4 (no class 11/27)
Hand-build, try the potter's wheel, glaze & fire functional and
decorative pottery using the "Project Arts" garage studio.
Cost: $88, $52 for each additional family member
Kids "Shop" class

Wednesday evenings: 5 weeks
This student directed class provides common knowledge and use of hand
tools. Bicycle maintenance might be a great place to start but they’ll
choose the final project. Call the CCA to be included on the interest
list.
Scouting Badge Workshops
Jr. Girl Scout Visual Arts Badge

Nov. 1: 1 - 4pm or Feb. 28: 1
- 4pm
Junior Girl Scouts will meet the requirements to earn their Visual
Arts Badge. Young artists will learn about color: primary and secondary
colors, values, hues, shades and tones and the effect colors have on
people. They will have the opportunity to create paintings with different
media, both realistic and abstract. The Scouts will also tour our building
and visit our gallery to learn about different artists and media. Cost:

Drawing, Painting and Cartooning
Begin to Draw

For the younger artists that love to draw and draw and draw, David
will teach them new skills that will help them today and for the rest
of their artistic lives. Cost: $70

Take the Bus!!
Learn different drawing techniques that include line, shape, shadow
and perspective during this introduction for older elementary and middle
school students. Cost: $70
Begin to Paint

4 Weeks: Oct 27 - Nov 17
Younger artists will explore techniques and different media while
gaining skills. Wear clothes that can get dirty! Cost: $70
Cartooning

Mondays: 4:30 – 6:00pm
4 weeks: Oct 15 – Nov 12 (no class 10/29)
Focus on drawing comic strips in this fun and funny class. Bring
a friend for twice the fun! Cost: $70
