Scouting Badge Workshops

Jr. Girl Scout Theater Badge

Oct. 25: 1-4pm  or  Mar. 21: 1–4pm

Junior Girl Scout will meet all the requirements to earn their Theater Badge. Young actors will make a mask, study characters with charades, expressions and emotions, participate in theater games and exercises designed to teach you how to work with others on the stage, learn about stage presence and vocal qualities and finally, do some improvisation. Badges will be available at the end to the session. Cost: $13.00

Theatre Classes

NEW! Beginning Drama for Children

Ages 6-11
8 weeks: 4-6pm
Sundays: Oct 12 – Dec 7 (no class 11/30)

Using games, vocal and movement exercises, story telling, and improvisation, young actors ages 6-11 will learn to work together to develop listening skills, trust, teamwork and confident self expres6-8pmsion essential for building strong character both on and off stage. Through orientation and motivation exercises children will gain a basic understanding of stage direction, acting and audition technique which will be utilized in a final presentation by the class.  This will be a fun and educational experience designed specifically for the young actor's needs.  Cost: $160
