Local virtuoso jazz/rock band Dave Sharp's Secret Seven will play a benefit concert for the Chelsea Center for the Arts on Saturday, September 18 in the barn at Rancho Tranquilico, 11300 Island Lake Road in Dexter Township.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, but also be prepared to dance! Parking is available next door at Ruhlig's Farm Market. Music starts at 7:30pm with bonfire to follow at 10:00pm. All ages welcome. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks available. Under cover, rain or shine. Come support a great local organization and hear great music in an historic barn located on a family farm! Tax deductible contributions of $10-20/person and $15-25/family appreciated.
Dave Sharp’s Secret Seven is "World Jazz for the Jazz World", transcending musical, national and ethnic boundaries by re-interpreting, not fusing, influences from Africa, Asia, the Latin world, Blue Note Jazz, and that other planet, New Orleans.
